Fluorosilicone Release Liners for Coated & Functional Silicone Materials

Silicone-based functional materials need a silicone-incompatible liner — fluorosilicone. Clean, residue-free release for thermally conductive pads, gap fillers, and conductive / EMI-shielding silicone coatings, die-cut and converted without lock-up or transfer.

Most release liners are silicone-coated — a problem when the material you’re protecting is also silicone-based. An ordinary silicone liner bonds to a silicone functional coating and locks up. Jefluo fluorosilicone liners stay chemically incompatible with the coating, so the material releases clean and intact through die-cutting and roll-to-roll converting — no lock-up, no transfer, no scrap.

Key Benefits

Consistent Ultra-Low Release Force for Coating Applications

Fluorosilicone-coated liners provide stable and ultra-low release force, ideal for roll-to-roll coating of functional adhesives, including acrylic, silicone, and UV-curable materials. Ensures clean separation and defect-free coating at high speed.

High Subsequent Adhesion Rate after Coating

Our fluorosilicone liners support high post-coating adhesive performance, maintaining strong adhesion in secondary bonding processes. Ideal for multilayer film structures, laminated sensors, and advanced electronics.

Excellent Thermal and Dimensional Stability

PET and polyimide liners deliver high heat resistance and dimensional accuracy during thermal curing, lamination, or sputtering processes. No wrinkling, curling, or shrinkage—perfect for precision film converting.

Clean Release in High-Precision Converting

Designed for laser cutting, die-cutting, and slitting, our liners support tight-tolerance converting of functional layers, display films, or electronic laminates. Prevents adhesive lift or contamination.

Customizable to Match Your Functional Film Design

Each liner is tailored to your coating chemistry, converting method, and web tension requirements. From low-friction liners to conductive or anti-fog film carriers, we deliver engineered solutions for complex materials.

Applications

Thin thermal interface silicone pad on a CPU and copper heat spreader with a heat sink above — fluorosilicone release liner for thermally conductive silicone pads

Thermal Interface Materials (TIMs)

Thermally conductive silicone pads and gap fillers for EV battery modules, LED lighting, and power electronics are coated and die-cut on release liners. As silicone-based materials, they need fluorosilicone liners for clean, stable release and precise thickness control.
Conductive silicone EMI gasket sealing a metal shielding frame around a circuit board — fluorosilicone release liner for conductive silicone coatings

Conductive Silicone Coatings

Conductive silicone coatings for EMI shielding, grounding, and anti-static use need a clean, residue-free liner. Being silicone-based, they require fluorosilicone liners — standard silicone liners would lock up against the silicone.

Customized Fluorosilicone Release Liners for Functional Coated Materials

Engineered for thermally conductive and electrically conductive silicone coatings, our fluorosilicone liners deliver stable release, thermal resistance, and dimensional control during coating and die-cutting. Because these are silicone-based materials, standard silicone liners lock up — fluorosilicone is required for clean, residue-free release.

Frequently Asked Questions

Fluorosilicone-coated liners are formulated to minimise silicone transfer and surface interference after coating, curing, or lamination. This reduces the risk of adhesive failure in secondary bonding processes for applications such as display laminates, thermal interface materials, and optical assemblies. Confirming compatibility with your specific adhesive system is recommended before production.

PET and polyimide liners maintain dimensional stability and flatness under high-tension web conditions, supporting consistent coating thickness across roll-to-roll processes.

Jefluo liners are compatible with UV-curable adhesives, solvent-based coatings, and silicone emulsion systems. PET substrate maintains dimensional stability and resists wrinkling or distortion during coating and drying processes.

Yes. We provide full technical datasheets (TDS), recommended application parameters, and sample rolls for pilot runs or coating qualification.
